Shopify Partner · Shopify SEO agency
Shopify gives every store a decent SEO starting point. Getting past page two takes someone who knows exactly where the platform holds you back.
Why Searchant
Most of the stores we work with run on Shopify.

Shopify handles the basics well: clean themes, automatic sitemaps, editable titles and descriptions, and canonical tags out of the box. That is why so many stores rank for their brand name and very little else.
The ceiling comes from how Shopify is built. You cannot change its URL structure, apps quietly add weight to every page, and collections, tags and filters can leave Google crawling thousands of near-duplicates while your best collection pages sit on page two. Installing another SEO app will not fix that. Knowing the platform will.
01
The same product lives at /products/ and at a /collections/ address. Themes often link to the duplicate, so we fix the internal linking and authority flows to one URL.
02
Tags and filters can create hundreds of indexable pages with little unique content. We decide which deserve to rank and keep the rest out of Google's way.
03
A product grid and a one-line description will not outrank real category content. We turn your most valuable collections into pages that deserve to rank.
04
Every app adds scripts, and many stay behind after they are uninstalled. We audit what is actually loading and what it costs you in speed.
05
Shopify Markets can handle hreflang for you, but only when it is set up correctly. Get it wrong and the wrong country's store shows in the wrong market.
06
Posts about your bestsellers often compete with the collection pages you need ranking. We merge, redirect or re-angle them.
01
Crawling and indexing, duplicate URLs, robots.txt.liquid, structured data, speed and Core Web Vitals, ranked by the revenue at stake.
02
Optimise the collections you have, plan new ones around searches your range should already win, and tighten product pages without breaking what converts.
03
Buying guides that feed your collections, and digital PR campaigns built around the data already sitting in your Shopify admin.
04
Organic revenue from Shopify and Google Analytics, not just rankings, reported every month.
Running Shopify Plus, expansion stores or a headless front end? The principles stay the same, but implementation changes. We work with your developers or Shopify agency to get changes live without breaking the theme.
Migrating from WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce can wipe out years of rankings if it is rushed. We map every URL, plan the redirects and check everything at launch, so your organic traffic comes with you.
The strongest Shopify stores in most categories have two things in common: well-built collection pages, and editorial coverage pointing at them. We handle both.
SEO builds collections worth linking to. Digital PR earns the links that rank them.
Case study: luxury gifts store
Month one found three problems. Broken canonical and hreflang tags were showing the wrong country pages in the wrong markets. Category pages were thin or missing. Blog posts were cannibalising the store's core product keywords. We spent three months fixing the technical issues, rebuilt and expanded the category pages, consolidated the competing content, then ran three months of digital PR that earned around 50 high-authority links.

We fix the technical issues Shopify creates, build out the collection and product pages that bring in buyers, and earn the authority those pages need to rank. All of it is reported against organic revenue.
Rarely. Most issues can be fixed within your existing theme. If the theme itself is the problem, we will tell you and explain the trade-off.
Through a Shopify collaborator request, which you approve and can remove at any time. You never need to share your login.
Some help with specific jobs, like image compression or structured data. None of them replace strategy, and several slow your store down. We usually remove more apps than we add.
Yes. We map old URLs to new ones, plan redirects, and check indexing, tracking and structured data at launch.
Every campaign is scoped to your store, so we do not publish a price list. Book a call and we will give you a clear figure. There is no minimum term: we work month to month.
